Our client, a growing Healthtech organization, is hiring a Software Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing their flagship platform and building new product capabilities that strengthen patient access and make pharmaceutical workflows more efficient.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance key components of their transaction processor, web application and API services.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
Monitor and improve cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability and scalability.
Work closely with team members to design clean, maintainable and high-performing solutions
Take ownership of projects, demonstrating strong organization, time management and follow-through.

Skillset

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience with Spring (Boot or Framework) and React.
Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mocha).
Ability to perform basic data analysis (SQL or Python) is a plus.
Comfortable using the Linux command line.
Practical experience deploying to Microsoft Azure or another major cloud provider.
Background in pharmaceutical or healthcare technology is a bonus.
