Contract

Our client, an IT Services firm specializing in the legal sector, are hiring a ServiceNow Administrator to join their Chicago team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the smooth, efficient and reliable operation of the ServiceNow platform, taking ownership of its daily management, configuration and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administration, monitoring and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

  • Configure forms, fields, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, notifications and access controls.

  • Manage user accounts, roles, groups and permissions.

  • Maintain CMDB accuracy, manage discovery schedules and ensure correct CI relationships.

  • Support ITSM processes, including incident, request, change and problem management.

  • Assist with upgrades, patching, cloning and overall instance management.

  • Troubleshoot platform issues and liaise with developers or vendors when required.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards and performance analytics.

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and governance standards.

  • Provide user support, guidance and basic platform training.

Skillset

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a ServiceNow Administrator.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes.

  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
