Contract

Our client, an innovator in the eCommerce industry, is hiring an experienced ServiceNow FSM Developer to join the team in Arizona on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring and optimizing Field Service Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform, covering everything from efficient dispatching models and automated work order lifecycles to mobile technician enablement, inventory and asset tracking and seamless FSM integration with other key systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and customize ServiceNow FSM applications, including work order creation, assignment rules, dispatching and scheduling.

  • Implement dispatching logic, technician availability models, shift rules and routing optimization.

  • Enhance work order lifecycle processes, including parts management, SLAs and service request fulfilment.

  • Configure and maintain FSM Mobile capabilities for real-time updates for field technicians.

  • Integrate FSM with ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, Inventory and Customer Service Management modules.

  • Develop custom applications and extensions using App Engine, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules and Client Scripts.

  • Create dynamic visualizations such as maps, calendars and technician schedules using FSM Workspace and UI Builder.

  • Support integrations with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub and MID Server.

  • Build ATF tests to validate FSM workflows, routing logic, and regression scenarios.

  • Facilitate workshops with dispatch teams and operational leads to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.

Skillset

  • At least 3 years of ServiceNow development experience, including a minimum of 2 years focused on FSM.

  • Practical experience with ServiceNow Work Orders, Task Assignment, Scheduling, Dispatcher Workspace and FSM Mobile.

  • Strong knowledge of SLAs, routing logic, assignment rules, resource capacity and operational workflows.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules and ServiceNow UI components.

  • Experience integrating FSM with ITSM, CMDB, HRSD or ERP systems.

  • Familiarity with ATF, platform health monitoring, CSDM and ServiceNow upgrade best practices.

  • CSA and CIS-FSM certifications preferred; CAD or CIS-ITSM certifications are a plus.
