Our client, an exciting AI-driven SaaS company, is hiring a Frontend / Browser Extension Engineer to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. The successful candidate will design and develop enterprise-grade browser extensions that deliver real-time visibility and control across web applications., from building systems that monitor data flows, enforcing security policies and scaling seamlessly across large organizations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop browser extensions for Chrome, Safari and Firefox with enterprise-grade security features.
Implement in-browser real-time monitoring and policy enforcement systems.
Build secure communication channels between browser extensions and cloud services.
Develop scalable deployment and management frameworks for enterprise environments.
Enable in-browser data detection and classification for sensitive information.
Optimize extensions for performance, security and reliability across complex enterprise settings.

Skillset

Minimum of 6 years of experience building production SaaS with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Web Extensions, browser security models and shipping production extensions (Chrome Web Store portfolio required).
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React, including build systems, performance optimisation and state management.
Strong systems thinking for designing complex frontend architectures that balance security, performance and maintainability.
Experience developing security or data protection systems.
Proven track record of independently shipping complete solutions from ambiguous or undefined problems.
