Our client, a growing AI-driven startup, is hiring a product-minded Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will own the delivery of polished, high-quality user experiences, obsess over UI details and ensure the frontend platform remains scalable, maintainable and robust.

Responsibilities

Take user-facing features from specification through development, deployment and iteration.
Create seamless tools that make it easy for external developers to integrate with their platform.
Improve CI/CD processes, release workflows and tooling for efficiency and reliability.
Monitor frontend performance, optimize speed and provide actionable insights.
Evolve and refine their component library to ensure consistency and scalability.
Listen, analyze and translate user insights into meaningful product improvements.

Skillset

Ability to own end-to-end delivery, prioritises outcomes, and balances speed with quality.
Strong attention to detail on UI/UX and collaborate effectively with designers and teammates.
Make thoughtful technical decisions without over-engineering.
Experienced with CI/CD, release processes, performance optimisation, and observability.
Leverages AI thoughtfully to accelerate development and improve quality while maintaining high engineering standards.
Strong technical skills in Monorepo, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, React Query and/or Rust.
