Contract

Our client, an expert insurance company, is hiring a Lead ServiceNow ITAM & ITOM Developer to join their team in Illinois on a contract basis. The successful candidate will drive technical discussions, oversee complex implementations and serve as a subject matter expert in ITOM and ITAM.

Responsibilities

Head the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow ITOM, including Discovery and Event Management.
Lead ITAM initiatives with a focus on SAM Pro, software compliance, license optimization and governance.
Design and develop integrations across enterprise platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Workday and Dynatrace.
Act as a senior escalation point for technical challenges and platform troubleshooting.
Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Ensure scalable, maintainable solution designs, enforce platform governance and uphold ServiceNow best practices.

Skillset

Practical, hands-on experience with ITOM, including Discovery and Event Management.
Extensive knowledge of ITAM, with expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).
Demonstrated experience building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience working with AI-driven Identity Security and Access Management platforms is a plus.
Ability to confidently lead technical discussions and operate as a senior-level consultant.
Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement experience.
