Senior IAM Lead/Architect

Our client, a leading transportation company, is hiring a Senior IAM Lead/Architect to join their Dublin based team on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a major transformation of the organisation’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework, focusing on the design and implementation of robust governance, effective controls, and sustainable processes to modernise and strengthen access management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement structured IAM governance frameworks, embedding industry best practices to reduce risk.

• Collaborate with senior security stakeholders to enhance IAM processes, with a focus on access reviews and control frameworks.

• Assess and redesign existing IAM processes and controls for efficiency and compliance.

• Define and document procedures for access requests, approvals, provisioning and de-provisioning.

• Establish and manage regular access review programmes to maintain oversight.

• Minimise operational delays and risks associated with manual access management.

• Partner with CISO-level and senior security leadership to drive strategic IAM improvements.

Skillset

• Demonstrated experience in driving IAM governance and delivering access management enhancements.

• Extensive expertise in leading access review programmes and implementing robust control frameworks.

• Capable of operating effectively in environments with minimal automation.

• Proven ability to engage and influence CISO-level and senior security stakeholders.

• Skilled in leading transformation initiatives, focusing on strategic improvements rather than day-to-day IAM operations.
