Our client, a leading IT Consulting organization, is hiring a ServiceNow Technical Architect to join their team in Maryland. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert across a range of internal and client-facing projects, delivering technical leadership and architectural guidance for the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Enterprise Architect across a range of technologies, with a primary focus on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Perform code reviews to ensure solutions align with best practices and established platform standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and architectural direction for ServiceNow implementations and platform enhancements.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for both the company’s clients and the internal ServiceNow development team.

  • Produce high-level estimates and work breakdown structures to support ServiceNow project planning and delivery.

  • Work closely with the development team to present and demonstrate potential technical solutions where required.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance, optimize and streamline the overall ServiceNow platform.

  • Offer advice and oversight on platform security, ensuring strong governance and best-practice security standards are maintained.

Skillset

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, ideally within medium to large enterprise environments.

  • Minimum of 7 years of application development experience, including working with SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum frameworks.

  • Certifications in ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.

  • Strong background in developing scalable custom applications and solutions.

  • Experience with JavaScript and open-source technologies.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical implementations across multiple ServiceNow modules.

  • Solid understanding of networking principles and infrastructure best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a team, providing technical guidance and mentorship where needed.
