AI Copliot Specialist

Our client, an established IT Services and Consulting firm, are hiring an AI Copilot Specialist to join their team in Dublin or Waterford on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering AI-driven solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, while supporting internal engineering teams in developing their AI capability, knowledge and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in developing and advancing the organisation’s AI and Copilot capabilities.

• Architect and deliver AI-driven and agentic solutions across the Microsoft technology stack.

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Microsoft Copilot technologies and AI Foundry.

• Contribute to the evolution of AI strategy, governance frameworks, tooling and best practices.

• Support and upskill engineering teams through mentoring, training and hands-on guidance in AI technologies.

• Develop and deploy AI agents and automated agentic workflows to meet growing business needs.

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable AI solutions.

• Provide hands-on technical support and solution delivery where required across projects.

• Champion the adoption of AI technologies and help drive overall AI capability and maturity across the business.

Skillset

• Proven commercial experience working with Microsoft Copilot technologies and solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing AI and agentic solutions.

• Solid understanding of the wider Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Microsoft 365.

• Experience working with AI Foundry and associated Microsoft AI platforms and tooling.

• Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in delivery.

• Previous experience mentoring, coaching or enabling engineering and development teams.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills.

• Background in software engineering, technical architecture or solution design is a plus.
