The Podcast

Welcome to episode 386 of the AI in Action podcast, the show where we break down the hype and explore the impact that Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are making on our everyday lives.

Powered by Alldus International, our goal is to share with you the insights of technologists and data science enthusiasts to showcase the excellent work that is being done within AI in North America and Europe.

Today’s guest is Paxton Maeder-York, CEO and Founder Alife Health in San Francisco, CA. Founded in 2020, Alife is on a mission to modernize and personalize IVF with cutting edge AI. They have built one of the largest and most diverse IVF data collections, made up of millions of patient cycles and sourced from the top fertility clinics around the world.

Alife’s AI software analyzes this data to identify what treatment plans have produced the best outcomes for past IVF patients that are similar to you. When you come in for care, your fertility clinician can combine these insights with their own expertise to craft a personalized IVF treatment plan.

In the episode, Paxton will talk about:

The inspiration for Alife Health

Applying AI to improve the equity and efficacy of IVF

The journey of bringing their product to life from concept to now

Building the team to help bring the idea to life

What the near future holds for Alife Health

Why Alife Health are great place to work
