  • Our client, a global IT organization, is hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Architect to join their Canadian team remotely on a contract basis. The successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to lead major ITOM implementations, work closely with both business and technical stakeholders, and help define innovative strategies that align with broader enterprise objectives.


    Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of the end-to-end architecture, design and deployment of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, with a focus on modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration and CMDB.

    • Analyze client requirements and translate them into scalable, strategic ITOM solutions that align with business goals.

    • Implement robust ITOM solutions across diverse environments, including cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructures.

    • Configure and optimize MID Servers, probes, sensors and patterns to enable accurate and efficient infrastructure discovery.

    • Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and external systems, including monitoring platforms, cloud services and third-party CMDBs.

    • Lead architectural reviews to ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, ITIL standards, and client-specific policies.

    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and ITOM expertise to junior consultants, developers and cross-functional teams.

    • Design and maintain reusable components, templates and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency and standardization.

    • Manage ITOM project lifecycles from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, scopes, and budgets.

    • Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements within the ServiceNow ITOM space, recommending enhancements and innovations.



    Skillset

    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT Operations Management, including at least 4 years of hands-on work with ServiceNow ITOM solutions.

    • Demonstrated success in architecting and delivering complex, enterprise-scale ITOM implementations.

    • In-depth expertise across key ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration and CMDB.

    • Strong technical knowledge of MID Server architecture, probe configuration and integration with external systems.

    • Practical experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.

    • Skilled in JavaScript, Glide scripting and web services integrations using REST and SOAP.

    • Preferred certifications include ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – ITOM or Discovery.

    • Additional certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Application Developer are a plus.

    • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and how they align with enterprise IT strategies.

    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Our client, a global leader in Digital Transformation, is hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant to join their Canda-based team remotely on a contract basis. The successful candidate will collaborate with enterprise clients to deliver tailored implementations, configurations and optimizations of the ServiceNow ITOM suite, aligning solutions with complex and evolving business requirements.


    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement scalable solutions across ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

    • Facilitate client workshops and perform needs assessments to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.

    • Set up and maintain MID Servers, probes, sensors and discovery patterns to enable accurate infrastructure mapping.

    • Develop seamless integrations between ServiceNow and external monitoring systems, cloud services and infrastructure tools.

    • Partner with platform architects and development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high coding standards.

    • Identify, diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting ITOM performance, reliability and integrations.

    • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on ServiceNow ITOM solutions, trends and implementation strategies.

    • Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and project deliverables.

    • Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams and client stakeholders, supporting long-term solution adoption.



    Skillset

    • At least 3 years of practical experience with ServiceNow specializing in ITOM solutions.

    • Proven expertise in two or more key ITOM components e.g. Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration or Cloud Management.

    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, API integrations and MID Server configuration.

    • Solid grasp of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including networking, cloud environments, virtualization and containers.

    • In-depth understanding of CMDB structure, architecture and data modeling within ServiceNow.

    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM or Discovery certification is preferred.

    • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and service management best practices.

    • Hands-on experience integrating cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP into the ServiceNow ecosystem.

    • Working knowledge of DevOps tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

    • Excellent analytical thinking, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
