  • Senior ServiceNow Developer (Custom Application Development)
    Location: Hybrid / Remote
    Duration: 12-Month Project


    Our client, a leading global consulting firm, are hiring an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join the team in Germany on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will join a major enterprise programme focused on a heavily customised ServiceNow application with a strong focus on custom application development, JavaScript and platform configuration.



    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop and enhance a complex custom ServiceNow application.

    • Build and maintain solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices.

    • Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions and Flow Designer solutions.

    • Configure and customise ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows and integrations.

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews and contribute to release activities.



    Skillset

    • Extensive ServiceNow development experience in customised enterprise environments.

    • Strong background in Custom Application Development.

    • Advanced JavaScript development skills.

    • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies & UI Actions, Flow Designer and REST/SOAP integrations.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and within Agile delivery teams.

    • ServiceNow CSA and/or CAD certification is a bonus.

    • Experience working within large global organisations or professional services environments.

    • Exposure to heavily customised ServiceNow implementations.

    Skillset

    • Professional fluency in German and English.

    • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar.

    • Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture, consulting or technical leadership positions.

    • Strong expertise across the ServiceNow platform, particularly within CSM, HRSD, integration and transformation programs.

    • Experience working within highly regulated environments such as public sector, utilities, energy or similar industries is advantageous.

    • Familiarity with emerging ServiceNow AI capabilities and automation tools, including Now Assist is beneficial.

    • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-CSM or CIS-HRSD are desirable.

Leveraging your skills in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Customer Service Management (CSM), the successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and solution design across complex ServiceNow transformation programmes.


    Responsibilities

    • Analyse, prioritise and translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow HRSD and CSM solutions.
    • Lead workshops and advise stakeholders on best-practice customer and employee service processes.
    • Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, considering integrations, governance and platform standards.
    • Identify and deliver AI-enabled use cases including intelligent automation, virtual agents and self-service capabilities.
    • Support project delivery from discovery through to go-live, managing key stakeholder relationships throughout.
    • Contribute to practice growth through pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, client presentations and solution demonstrations.

    Skillset

    • Experience supporting sales and business development activities, including RFPs, bids, proposals, and client-facing presentations.
    • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS CSM or CIS HRSD are highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
