    Our client, a German pharmaceutical customer, is hiring an ServiceNow ITOM Consultant to join the team on a freelance role.  The successful candidate will focus on ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB optimisation and implementing the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).


    Responsibilities

    • Provide consulting and advisory support on ITOM best practices, CMDB governance and CSDM adoption.

    • Lead Discovery implementation to ensure accurate identification and mapping of infrastructure and application services.

    • Perform hands-on configuration and validation of CMDB data quality and relationships.

    • Define data standards, processes and operating model improvements to strengthen service visibility and operational maturity.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating technical outcomes into business value.



    Skillset

    • Proven experience in ServiceNow ITOM, with strong knowledge of Discovery and CMDB.

    • Solid understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and how to implement it.

    • Hands-on experience with CMDB governance, data quality and service mapping.

    • Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives.

    • Previous experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industries is a plus.
