Location: Remote (Ireland-based)
Start Date: ASAP (4 week notice max)

Our client, a leading Life Sciences organization, are hiring a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to join on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• You will work on a high-impact initiative to build a smart Q&A chatbot, capable of searching internal documentation and delivering precise, grounded responses using LLMs and RAG techniques.

Skillset

• Deep experience with LLMs and RAG architectures.

• Strong data querying skills with SQL, P-SQL, TSQL, NO-SQL.

• Hands-on experience with vector databases.

• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.

• Experience with Azure of GCP is a plus.
