Our client, a leader in the Fintech industry, are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their AI team in Colorado. The successful candidate will contribute to a new initiative focused on creating AI-driven workflows for large enterprises, including the development of agentic conversational assistants and personalized applications.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to architectural, design and product discussions to define the project’s technological direction.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to build customer-facing features.
Integrate various tools and services via APIs.
Develop event-streaming architectures to load data into a Customer Data Platform.
Optimize data extraction, transformation and loading using SQL and AWS big data technologies such as Redshift and Glue.
Automate workflows and improve data delivery for enhanced scalability.
Assist data scientists in curating datasets to refine and enhance product performance.
Ensure software solutions maintain high performance and scalability.

Skillset

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
Minimum of three years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering, ideally in a startup setting.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines (Spark), databases (Postgres, SQL, MongoDB) and API development.
Expertise in designing scalable data pipelines and selecting optimal technologies to enhance user experience.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly collaborative, action-oriented and thrives in fast-paced environments.
