Founded in 2016 and headquartered in New York, Ledger Investing is a tech-enabled marketplace for connecting insurance risk to capital. The company deploys proprietary software and data analytics covering many types of insurance risk portfolios. This technology enables insurers to securitize risk more efficiently while providing investors, asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional investors an opportunity to invest in a new and growing asset class.

Mark is a experienced data science professional who’s passionate about providing data-driven answers to complex real-world questions. He leads a team at Ledger Investing that focuses on building sophisticated analytics for casualty insurance portfolios, in particular modeling casualty insurance for pricing insurance-linked securities. The team are fluent in actuarial practice and in modern statistical techniques, and they seek to combine the best of both worlds to provide robust, unbiased and precise forecasts to their clients.
