Our client, an AI-driven customer engagement company, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the product engineering team in New York City. The successful candidate will design, build, and scale innovative products that transform how revenue teams operate. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, technical architecture and engineering best practices while delivering high-impact features used by thousands of customers.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deliver end-to-end full-stack features from concept through to production.
Develop scalable frontend and backend applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js and Go.
Build, maintain and optimize cloud-native solutions within AWS.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance system architectures.
Work closely with product and leadership teams to turn customer feedback into impactful product features.
Enhance platform reliability through testing, monitoring, observability and resilient system design.
Support and mentor engineers by providing technical guidance and constructive code reviews.
Help shape the technical roadmap by contributing to architectural decisions and engineering best practices.

Skillset

At least 5 years’ experience building and shipping production-grade software applications.
Strong commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Hands-on experience developing backend services using Node.js and Go (Golang).
Strong proficiency with AWS and cloud-native development practices.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and software architecture principles.
Experience designing and delivering scalable, high-performance backend systems.
Demonstrated ability to make effective technical and architectural decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
