  • Our client, a Digital Transformation consulting firm, are hiring a CMDB Architect (ServiceNow ITOM) to join the team on a short-term contract in Bavaria, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise CMDB within a Telco Environment. 


    Responsibilities

    • Lead the architecture, design and implementation of the ServiceNow CMDB.

    • Define the overall approach, make key design decisions and review/validate deliverables from third-party vendors.

    • Implement selected CMDB components to demonstrate best practices.

    • Ensure a high-quality, sustainable CMDB aligned with operational IT needs.

    • Align CMDB design with ITSM/ITOM processes and stakeholders.



    Skillset

    • Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB implementations in large-scale environments.

    • Certification in ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow CIS – CMDB or Discovery is required. ITIL v4 Foundation is a big plus.

    • Strong expertise in CMDB architecture & CI data modeling (classes, relationships, dependencies, service hierarchies).

    • Proven track record in multi-source CMDB integration, consolidation, and complex reconciliation.

    • Strong knowledge of Discovery (schedules, patterns, credentials), Service Mapping (topologies, business service views), CMDB Health (dashboards, reconciliation rules, normalization) and CSDM v4/v5.

    • Integration expertise e.g.MID Server, REST APIs, Import Sets, Integration Hub.

    • Understanding of ITSM/ITOM touchpoints (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Asset).

    • Fluent English (spoken and written).

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the ServiceNow on-prem to cloud migration project as overall Transition Manager / Programme Manager.
