Job Title: ServiceNow Developer – ITAM / ITOM
Employment Type: Minimum 6 month contract
Location: Remote/Hybrid (USA-based)

Our client, a prominent player in the technology sector, are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join the team on a minimum 6 month contract. With a focus on IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or IT Operations Management (ITOM), the successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications with a focus on ITAM (e.g. SAM Pro, HAM) and/or ITOM (e.g. Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).

• Customize workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies and integrations to meet client needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions.

• Maintain and optimize the CMDB, ensuring accurate asset and service relationships.

• Implement system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, best practices and new features to recommend innovative solutions.

• Provide ongoing support for the ServiceNow platform, including performance optimization and defect resolution.

Skillset

• 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITAM or ITOM modules.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML/CSS and API integrations.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools (e.g. Business Rules, Client Scripts).

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks (certification preferred).

• ServiceNow certifications – CSA, CAD or CIS preferred.
