Our client, a forward-thinking IT Services organization, are hiring a ServiceNow UI/UX Developer to join their team on a contract basis in Michigan. The successful candidate will join a growing company who are leveraging the power of the ServiceNow platform to develop modern, user-focused portals and applications.

Responsibilities

  • As the ServiceNow UI/UX Developer, you will design and develop custom ServiceNow portals using Service Portal widgets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AngularJS.

  • You will build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

  • Customize ServiceNow forms, pages and widgets to meet business requirements while following UI/UX best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate them into functional design prototypes.

  • Ensure consistency and usability across all ServiceNow applications and portals.

  • Conduct usability testing, collect feedback and refine designs for continuous improvement.

  • Integrate third-party systems and APIs to expand portal capabilities.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize portal performance to ensure smooth functionality.

  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases to maintain compatibility and leverage new features.

Skillset

  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow development, specializing in Service Portal and UI/UX design.

  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS and Bootstrap.

  • Experience working with modern UI frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.

  • Skilled in creating and implementing responsive web designs and adaptive layouts.

  • Proficient in integrating REST APIs and web services within ServiceNow.

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow’s platform, including workflows, catalog items and custom applications.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical challenges efficiently.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certification is a bonus.
