Deployment Engineer

Alldus is hiring on behalf of a client for an experienced Deployment Engineer to join their team in Virginia. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week and an active Public Trust clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens to meet clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute software deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment processes.

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Automate deployment tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

• Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure smooth rollouts.

• Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure environment readiness.

Skillset

• 3+ years of experience in software deployment, DevOps, or related roles.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a bonus.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus).

• Understanding of agile software development and deployment methodologies.

• DevOps or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc) are desirable but not essential.
