Data Scientist – Generative AI
Contract: Initial 6-Month Daily Rate Contract (Extension Likely)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid, 1/2 Days Onsite Per Week)

Our client, a leading healthcare company, is hiring multiple Data Scientists with expertise in Generative AI to join their team in Dublin on a six-month contract. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative AI applications using advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to support clinical and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale Large Language Model (LLM) pipelines, inclduing fine-tuning, evaluation and optimisation.

• Developing RAG solutions for decision-support use cases.

• Creating Model Control & MLOps tooling to safely deploy models to production.

Skillset

• Proven experience working with LLMs and Generative AI techniques in production or research environments.

• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases.

• Proficiency in Python and relevant ML/AI frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and scalable model deployment.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.
