Purview SME

Job: Microsoft Purview SME
Location: Dublin/Hybrid 3 days onsite per week
Duration: 6 Month Contract

Alldus are on the search for an experienced Microsoft Purview SME to support one of our customers on an initial 6-month daily rate contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This role will play a key part in driving enterprise-wide data security, governance, and compliance initiatives across the Microsoft security ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Microsoft Purview solutions
• Support data governance, data classification, and information protection strategies
• Configure and manage Purview capabilities including:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels
  • Insider Risk Management
  • eDiscovery
  • Data Lifecycle Management
  • Compliance Manager
• Work closely with security, compliance, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
• Provide SME guidance on Microsoft security and compliance best practices
• Assist with regulatory and governance requirements across the organisation

Required Experience

• Strong handson experience with Microsoft Purview in enterprise environments
• Proven background across:
  • Data Security
  • Data Governance
  • Compliance & Information Protection
• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 security and compliance technologies
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management
• Ability to engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Experience working in complex regulated environments is highly desirable

Required Certifications
Candidates should hold relevant Microsoft certifications such as:

• SC401 – Administering Information Security in Microsoft 365
• SC400 – Information Protection Administrator (legacy equivalent)
• SC900 – Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• AZ500 – Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
