IAM Architect
Location: Dublin / Hybrid
Contract Length: Initial 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a leading consulting organisation, is hiring a IAM Architect to join their team in Dublin on a six month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in a large-scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation programme, with the opportunity to influence and define enterprise IAM strategy and architecture within a complex, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of enterprise IAM solutions across complex, distributed environments.

  • Define IAM strategy, roadmaps and best practice standards aligned to security and regulatory requirements.

  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, cloud and application teams to embed IAM capabilities across the enterprise.

  • Provide technical leadership across authentication, authorisation, SSO, MFA, identity governance and privileged access management initiatives.

  • Support the implementation and optimisation of IAM tooling across hybrid and cloud environments.

  • Develop high-level and low-level architectural designs, technical documentation and standards.

  • Engage with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity and successful delivery outcomes.

Skillset

  • At least 10 years of experience in Identity & Access Management and Security Architecture roles.

  • Strong hands-on and architectural experience across Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

  • Deep understanding of SSO, MFA, federation standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), RBAC, PAM and identity governance frameworks.

  • Proven track record of delivering IAM solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, TOGAF, Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Security certifications) is a bonus.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.

  • Prior experience on transformation or migration programmes highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and modern cloud security principles is a plus.
