Our client, a global tech organization, is hiring experienced hands-on ServiceNow HAM and SAM implementation specialists to join the Frankfurt team on part-time contracts. The successful candidates will support both Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) initiatives within a ServiceNow environment, delivering end-to-end configuration, integration and operational implementation across both workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end hands-on implementation of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) within a ServiceNow environment.

  • Strong understanding of asset management structures, CMDB alignment and foundation data relationships.

  • Configuration, scripting and development of custom applications to support platform capabilities.

  • Deployment preparation, release management and version control using source control practices.

  • Management of Content Library, including opt-in models and lifecycle data.

  • Design and configuration of software models, entitlements and licence metric frameworks.

  • Discovery and CMDB integration, including alignment of installed software and hardware data.

  • Configuration and support of Software Asset Workspace and Hardware Asset Workspace.

  • Implementation of reconciliation processes and compliance reporting across multiple software publishers.

  • Integration delivery using Excel imports, REST APIs, Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) and Robust Transform Engine (RTE) processing.

Skillset

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end Software Asset Management (SAM) and/or Hardware Asset Management (HAM) implementations within enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of CMDB structures, configuration item relationships and IT asset lifecycle management processes.

  • Hands-on experience with platform configuration, scripting, workflow automation and custom application development.

  • Integration experience across multiple methods, including Excel-based imports, REST APIs and data transformation tools (e.g. ETL processes).

  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines, release management and source control practices.

  • Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and reconciliation principles within asset management environments.

  • Experience working with ITIL-aligned processes, particularly in asset, configuration and service management domains.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing SAM/HAM implementations for performance and compliance outcomes.
