Penetration Tester

Our client, a leading consulting firm, are hiring a highly skilled Penetration Tester to join their security team on a contract basis in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will deliver advanced offensive security assessments across complex enterprise environments, including identifying, exploiting and reporting vulnerabilities across infrastructure, networks, web applications and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Help clients strengthen their security posture by providing clear, actionable insights and remediation guidance.

• Perform penetration testing across infrastructure, networks, Active Directory, web applications and cloud environments.

• Identify, exploit and validate vulnerabilities in complex enterprise systems.

• Assess security risks in virtualised and containerised environments.

• Produce high-quality technical reports with clear remediation recommendations.

• Collaborate with clients in a consulting or professional services capacity.

• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Skillset

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on penetration testing and offensive security experience.

• Strong expertise in network, infrastructure, Active Directory and web application security testing.

• Good understanding of cloud platforms and containerised environments.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift, Docker and container security concepts.

• Certifications in OSCP, PMPT, CRTP, CRTA and/or CRTE.

• Desirable certifications include eWPTX and/or HTB CPTS (Certified Penetration Testing Specialist).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk articulation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
