Our client, a cutting-edge IT Services provider, is hiring a ServiceNow Developer with active Secret clearance to join the team in Virginia on a contract basis. The successful candidate will drive the design, development and delivery of enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform, helping to build scalable, high-performance workflows that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise the end-to-end ServiceNow platform, including configuration, maintenance and ongoing enhancements.

  • Administer user access, roles and permissions, ensuring platform security, stability and efficiency.

  • Design and implement automated workflows to streamline and improve business processes.

  • Build and customise ServiceNow applications, forms, dashboards and reports to meet organisational requirements.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems, including HR and finance platforms, using API connections for seamless data exchange.

  • Monitor system performance and drive continuous optimisation through testing, quality assurance, and best-practice deployment.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and manage knowledge bases for ServiceNow capabilities and solutions.

  • Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders to support effective platform usage and adoption.

Skillset

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant ServiceNow experience.

  • Active Secret Clearance or current interim clearance required.

  • IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ or equivalent).

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules including Incident, Change and Asset Management.

  • Proven experience configuring and customising ServiceNow platforms.

  • Experience building automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow system administration, including roles, permissions and access controls.

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems using APIs.

  • Experience in process automation, digital transformation and platform optimization.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including requirements gathering and user experience improvement.
