Our client, an AI-driven company within the real estate sector, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable systems that address complex, high-impact challenges.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deliver production-grade software across the company’s AI platform.
Own major systems end to end, from architecture decisions through to implementation and delivery.
Work closely with the CTO and founding team to define product direction and technical strategy.
Build AI-powered workflows, including LLM pipelines and agentic systems where accuracy and reliability are critical.
Develop solutions for complex legal, financial and institutional data challenges.
Make thoughtful architecture decisions and solve complex engineering problems in ambiguous environments.
Champion software quality, data integrity, security and reliability across the platform.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver intuitive products for families and professionals.

Skillset

At least 5 years of experience designing, building and delivering production-grade software solutions.
Strong programming skills with Python and/or TypeScript.
Proven experience designing scalable systems and making effective architecture decisions.
Familiarity with LLM pipelines, AI agents, or the ability to quickly learn and apply emerging AI technologies.
Strong focus on software correctness, reliability and working with sensitive or regulated data.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and data-intensive systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delivering impactful solutions.
Experience working within fintech, legaltech, healthtech or other regulated industries is a plus.
Previous startup experience is a bonus.
