Today’s guest is Mat Davis, VP of Data Science at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Founded in 2003, Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ purpose is to innovate to transform the lives of patients and their families. The company are focused on developing life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases – often with limited or no options – so they can live their lives more fully. By transforming biopharmaceutical discoveries into novel medicines, they are working to give people around the world the opportunity to redefine what’s possible – to make the “small wins” big again.

Mat leads Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ data science organization in R&D partners to leverage innovative experimental design, novel data sources and modern analytics across bioinformatics, statistics, data analytics and statistical programming, epidemiology and real world evidence. Their goal is to improve decision making, support registration and reimbursement, and uncover knowledge for their medicines to transform the lives of patients and their families.
