AI in Action, Podcast | September 25 2023 | JP Valentine
Welcome to episode 479 of the AI in Action podcast, the show where we break down the hype and explore the impact that Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are making on our everyday lives.
Powered by Alldus International, our goal is to share with you the insights of technologists and data science enthusiasts to showcase the excellent work that is being done within AI in North America and Europe.
Today’s guest is Rachel Cossar, Co-Founder and CEO at Virtual Sapiens. Founded in 2020, Virtual Sapiens’ suite of AI solutions show the “you” others see through the screen. Through their industry-leading expertise in non-verbal, verbal and vocal elements of communication, the company leverages cutting-edge computer vision to reveal what’s hidden and help you rewire behavior for stronger virtual presentations. It is their mission to help professionals master communication skills in a virtual world of work.
Virtual Sapiens comes as an evolution of Rachel’s combined work as founder of Choreography for Business, a nonverbal communication consulting firm as well as a faculty member with Mobius Executive Leadership and as a leadership presence facilitator with Ariel Group. With the increased dependency of video events as a way to connect and drive impact across organizations, Rachel and her team at Virtual Sapiens are excited to open up a world of access when it comes to one of the most human and most important skills in business: communication.
In the episode, Rachel talks about:
Virtual Sapiens’ work in training and skill building
The impact that the product is bringing to users
The make-up of the technical team
What the roadmap looks like for the near future
