The Podcast

Welcome to final and 12th episode in the first Cybersecurity series of the Alldus podcast, the show where we break down the hype and explore the impact that Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity are making on our everyday lives.

Powered by Alldus International, our goal is to share with you the insights of technologists and data science enthusiasts to showcase the excellent work that is being done within AI and Cybersecurity across the globe.

Today’s guest is Wim Remes. Wim Remes leverages his 15 years of security leadership experience to advise clients on reducing their risk posture by solving complex security problems and by building resiliency into their organization. Wim delivers expert guidance on reducing the high cost of IT security failures, both financially and in terms of brand reputation with his deep expertise in network security, identity management, policy design, risk assessment and penetration testing.

Wim has also been engaged in various infosec community initiatives and has been a featured speaker at various international conferences. In this podcast, Wim walks us through his journey into Cybersecurity, to Chairman of the Board at ISC² and now a vCISO where he services businesses around the world. Wim is both technical and business orientated which gives him a unique perspective on the role of the vCISO.

In the show, Wim will discuss:

How he got into Cybersecurity

What he learned during his time with (ISC)²

The importance of accreditations and certifications

The benefits of working as a virtual CISO
