Responsibilities

• As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible to architect and implement scalable back-end systems.

• Lead data engineering efforts across big data pipelines, including validation, cleaning, deduplication, matching, testing and quality assurance.

• Collaborate with a mission-driven engineering team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

• Contribute to core enterprise data collection platforms that serve millions of users.

Skillset

• Extensive experience in back-end engineering and distributed system design.

• Strong background in data engineering, including large-scale data processing and optimization.

• Practical experience building and scaling microservices architectures.

• Proficiency across key technologies: Back-end (Go, Python), Cloud (AWS, Terraform) and Data (PostgreSQL, S3, Redis, Snowflake, MongoDB).

• Skilled in developing, maintaining, and monitoring web services in AWS Lambda and containerized environments (e.g. Docker).

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in both data warehouses and data lakes.

• Deep understanding and application of Agile methodologies, TDD, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.

• Strong communication skills with excellent skills in translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

The successful candidate will play a key part in architecting a next-generation React framework that seamlessly integrates visual design, code and AI into a unified, intuitive development experience.


Responsibilities

• Design and develop foundational elements of their frontend platform, including a high-performance visual canvas, reusable component libraries and underlying framework infrastructure.

• Enhance the platform’s performance, scalability and security through rigorous optimisation of frontend code execution.

• Partner directly with customers and design collaborators to capture feedback, shape features and drive impactful improvements across the product.

• Work alongside product and design teams to define the roadmap, translate strategic ideas into reality, and stay at the forefront of AI and frontend innovation.

Skillset
