Our client, an Elite ServiceNow Partner, is hiring a trained and certified ServiceNow ITAM Technical Consultant to join their Philadelphia team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will utilize the ServiceNow platform to handle customer incidents and requests, with a primary focus on building and implementing ServiceNow applications and modules.

Responsibilities

  • Implement end-to-end automated solutions, including the technical setup of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System and Applications.

  • Provide expert-level knowledge and customer support within the ITSM and ITAM Suites, with an emphasis on CMDB.

  • Articulate the features and benefits of ServiceNow’s ITSM and ITAM suites to customers.

  • Design, develop and migrate customers’ legacy solutions to ServiceNow.

  • Apply ITIL processes, customize workflows, set up ticketing systems, automate processes, develop reports, create dashboards and configure systems.

  • Use Agile software development methods for platform customizations and application enhancements.

  • Coordinate and prioritize development efforts, engage with vendors and management, and potentially lead additional administrators.

  • Ensure seamless integration of solutions with other systems by evaluating dependencies, relationships, and integration points.

Skillset

  • Extensive functional and technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, with proven experience in platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting.

  • At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

  • Hands-on experience with the ITSM Suite.

  • Familiarity with ITOM Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping and Orchestration.

  • ServiceNow Admin certification (or higher) preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, and either ITAM or ITOM.

  • Background in software development or IT service management.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices (ITIL v3 certification is a plus).

  • Experience with Agile software development (SCRUM experience is a plus).
