HRSD Business Process Consultant

Our client, a forward-thinking ServiceNow solutions provider, is hiring an experienced HRSD Business Process Consultant to join their team in San Diego on a contract basis. The successful candidate be instrumental in designing, implementing and optimizing Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) processes, helping to align HR operations with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing HR processes to pinpoint opportunities for improvement or automation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement streamlined HRSD workflows.

• Convert business requirements into both functional and technical specifications.

• Customize and configure HRSD modules on platforms like ServiceNow.

• Assist with change management efforts, including training, communication and adoption strategies.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business needs align with platform capabilities.

• Create documentation for process designs, user stories, use cases, and test scenarios.

• Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights and requirements.

• Assess the effectiveness of implemented processes and suggest ongoing improvements.

• Keep current with HR trends, compliance standards and innovations in HR technology.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or similar.

• Minimum of five years of experience in HR process consulting or HR operations.

• Knowledge of HRSD tools, with a preference for experience with ServiceNow HRSD or similar platforms.

• In-depth understanding of core HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations and case management.

• Expertise in business analysis and process mapping using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

• Solid understanding of global HR compliance and labor regulations.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

• ServiceNow HRSD certification or hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations is a plus.
