Our client, a global tech organization, is hiring Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join the team in Virginia on a contract basis. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to design, configure and implement tailored solutions on the ServiceNow platform, playing a pivotal role in delivering business value through the application of best practices across a range of ServiceNow products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to design and deliver effective solutions to business challenges using ServiceNow.

  • Define the scope, requirements and overall solution vision for assigned projects.

  • Adhere to and support established technical governance processes.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow architecture standards and best practices.

  • Participate in design workshops, as well as development, testing and deployment activities.

  • Take ownership of technical deliverables related to ServiceNow configurations and integrations.

  • Apply and advocate for ServiceNow best practices across all implementations.

  • Develop a strong understanding of client businesses and align solutions to their needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and service offerings based on client feedback and experience.

Skillset

  • At least 2 years of experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across one or more modules.

  • Strong hands-on development expertise within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SAM, GRC, Security, CSM, HRSD and/or Portal.

  • Certifications such as ITIL v3 Foundation, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer are desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and provide thought leadership.

  • Experience in addressing governance, project management, business process and/or technical challenges.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or similar is a bonus.
