Our client is leading the charge in transforming the landscape of motor technology, establishing a fresh benchmark for sustainability and efficiency. They are hiring a skilled Automation, Robotics, & Control Systems Engineer to play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and refining robotic systems and control solutions for their state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Automation, Robotics, & Control Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with both internal and external engineering teams to develop and integrate tailored robotic systems for industry-specific applications, ensuring precision and efficiency.

  • You will program and configure robotic controllers, PLCs, and SCADA systems to enhance performance and reliability.

  • Integrate SCADA systems with MES for streamlined operations.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to grasp project requirements and provide technical insights into robotics and automation.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to robotic systems and control software to minimize downtime.

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Document engineering designs, processes, and modifications for future reference.

  • Aid in the commissioning and validation of automation systems.

Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.

  • Essential proficiency in Ignition SCADA platform programming.

  • Experience in designing and programming robotic systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.

  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.

  • Thorough understanding of control theory, sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Certifications such as Certified Automation Professional (CAP) is a bonus.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision for robotic applications.
