Our client is leading the charge in developing the next-generation Automation AI platform, aimed at streamlining repetitive processes with unparalleled efficiency. They are hiring a Senior Research Scientist to join their fast-growing team in the San Francisco Bay Area and tackle challenges within AI, UX, and complex systems.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Research Scientist, you will engage in innovative research within foundation models and generative AI.
You will deploy and train expansive Action Foundation Models for various automation scenarios.
Partner with data teams to create and refine exclusive datasets for the organization.
Collaborate closely with internal product teams and external researchers to foster innovation.
Facilitate the transfer of technology to pertinent product groups, maximizing its reach and influence.

Skillset:

Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Practical expertise in training distributed models at scale and preparing data.
Proficient in widely-used deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and JAX.
Understanding of both theoretical and applied aspects of deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.
Proven track record of excellence in research or substantial experience in product development.
Familiarity with large-scale language models and vision-language models.
Skilled in programming with Python/C++ and parallel programming techniques (e.g., CUDA).
