Job Title: Cloud Security Architect
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Day Rate: €500-550 p/d
Duration: 12 months (high chance of extension)

A partner of Alldus require a Cloud Security Architect to join a team in Dublin on a 12-month day rate contract. This role is instrumental in shaping and implementing secure cloud solutions for complex enterprise ICT projects. There is a high chance of extension beyond the initial 12 month stint.

Responsibilities

Design and review security architecture for enterprise ICT projects, ensuring robust cloud and hybrid security measures.
Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and frameworks in alignment with ISO27001, NIST CSF, and CIS.
Implement and oversee security measures for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
Conduct security architecture reviews and assess vendor solutions to meet compliance and security requirements.
Perform security risk assessments and ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI, and NIS2 regulations.
Advocate and implement DevSecOps practices to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Work closely with IT, security, legal, and executive teams to drive a unified security strategy.
Participate in the Technical Advisory Board (TAB) and review project security reports to ensure robust security postures before ‘go live’.

Requirements

Extensive experience in security architecture within large-scale enterprise ICT projects.
Expertise in cloud security, network security, IAM, and endpoint security.
Strong knowledge of industry frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Experience conducting risk assessments and security governance reviews.
Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
Proven leadership in managing cybersecurity architecture and collaborating with stakeholders.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or cloud-specific certifications (AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert).
