Our client, a global AI and Data Organisation, are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, automating and managing secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, which will help stream development workflows, optimise deployment strategies and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design, build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees and GitHub Enterprise.
Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Implement robust monitoring and observability frameworks, including CloudWatch, Datadog and Prometheus.
Collaborate with development teams to optimise DevOps processes and deployment workflows.
Manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.
Ensure secure and scalable environments by following best practices in IAM, security and compliance.
Integrate code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Prisma Cloud and Qualys.
Manage the artifact lifecycle using JFrog Artifactory.

Skillset

At least 5 years of experience in application development and support.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Practical experience with containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CDK.
Proficiency in scripting and automation.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and secure system design principles.
Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect or Security Specialty) is a bonus.
