Senior Privacy Consultant / DPO – Contract)
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Day Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Alldus are partnering with leading organisations in the Irish market to engage Senior Privacy Consultants / Data Protection Officers (DPOs) on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to support critical privacy programmes across a range of business units.

You will play a key role in strengthening data protection frameworks and ensuring compliance with GDPR and wider privacy standards. This role will suit experienced consultants who can operate in a client-facing environment and deliver across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

• Provide expert guidance on GDPR compliance and privacy frameworks.

• Support the development and implementation of data protection policies and controls.

• Engage with business stakeholders to embed privacy by-design principles.

• Assist with audits, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.

• Act as a trusted advisor on data protection strategy and best practice.

Skillset

• Proven experience operating as a Privacy Consultant or DPO.

• Strong hands on expertise delivering DPIAs end-to-end.

• Deep understanding of GDPR and Irish/EU data protection regulations.

• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.

• Experience in regulated environments (banking, pharma, public sector) is desirable.
