Software Engineer

Our client, an AI-driven company in the Healthcare sector, is hiring a Software Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will work closely with founders and engineers at the forefront of healthcare, AI and real-time technology to develop systems used daily in real-world healthcare settings, which directly impact patient access and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver full-stack features that power AI-driven healthcare communication.
• Extend LLM-powered workflows supporting real-time patient interactions.
• Build low-latency services for processing live voice and healthcare data.
• Develop secure, compliant solutions across complex, fragmented healthcare systems.
• Integrate with EHRs, legacy platforms and real-time voice systems.
• Partner with product and design to translate real user needs into production software.
• Enhance reliability, performance and scalability across live systems.
• Contribute to technical direction, code quality, and engineering best practices.

Skillset

• At least 5 years’ experience developing and delivering production-grade software.
• Strong full-stack expertise across Node.js, TypeScript, React and PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting quickly.
• Ability to take ownership, with a focus on quality and real-world impact.
• Excellent communication skills.
