Forward Deployed Engineer

Our client, an AI-driven Healthtech company, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with founders and senior engineers working across healthcare, AI and real-time systems, to ship impactful features used every day in real-world clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production-ready full-stack features that power AI-driven healthcare communication.

• Integrate with EHRs, legacy healthcare systems and real-time voice infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with product, design and engineering teams to turn customer needs into shipped software.

• Debug and improve reliability, performance and scalability across live production systems.

• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and the continuous evolution of engineering best practices.

• Extend LLM-driven systems that support real-time, AI-powered healthcare workflows.

• Develop low-latency services that process live voice and patient data.

• Build resilient and secure integrations across fragmented, regulated healthcare systems.

Skillset

• At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software.

• Strong full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React and PostgreSQL.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on quality and real-world impact.

• Excellent communication skills.
