ServiceNow Technical Architect – Customer Facing
Our client, a global tech organization, is hiring a customer facing ServiceNow Technical Architect to join their team in Virginia on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, helping to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing platform solutions aligned with both business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture, solution design and delivery of enterprise-wide ServiceNow implementations.

Convert business and functional requirements into scalable, future-proof platform solutions.

Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow functionality, integrations and industry best practices.

Manage the development, configuration and enhancement of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SPM and SecOps.

Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, governance policies and security frameworks.

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams.

Contribute to solutioning activities, technical workshops and pre-sales engagements where needed.

Support and mentor developers, platform administrators and technical consultants throughout project delivery.

Promote continuous improvement, platform optimisation and innovation across the ServiceNow environment.
Skillset
-
Extensive hands-on experience designing, architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions within complex enterprise environments.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation and implementation programmes.

Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SPM and/or SecOps.

Proven experience building and managing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services and third-party enterprise platforms.

Previous experience working within consulting, managed services, or customer-facing delivery environments.

Solid understanding of platform governance, scalability, security and enterprise architecture best practices.

ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Architect (CAA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) are an advantage.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and influencing technical and strategic decision-making.
