ServiceNow Developer SPM Jobs

Our client, a leading US Entertainment company, is hiring an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their team in New York City on a contract-to-hire basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and evolving the ServiceNow platform across multiple business units, ensuring it continues to meet business needs through scalable and effective solutions.


Responsibilities

• Administer and support four ServiceNow instances across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SPO and Workflow Data modules.

• Maintain, optimize and enhance the ServiceNow platform in line with best practices and business requirements.

• Design, develop and implement scalable ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform enhancements.

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions and Scheduled Jobs.

• Build and extend platform capabilities using Discovery, IntegrationHub and other ServiceNow technologies.

• Customise the ServiceNow user experience through UI Pages, UI Macros, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.

• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, AJAX, SSO/SAML, and Scripted Web Services.

• Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects and drive continuous improvements to performance and functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions that support business objectives.

Skillset

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' experience developing and administering the ServiceNow platform.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow ITSM implementations.

• Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SPM and SPO.

• Hands-on experience developing with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, ServiceNow APIs and client/server-side JavaScript.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, AJAX, Scripted Web Services and SSO/SAML.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell or Windows Shell.

• ITIL Certification and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
