  • Extensive expertise in modern Java, utilizing zero GC patterns.

  • Proficient in implementing ultra-low latency design patterns and optimizing trading systems.

  • Strong command of SQL and relational/time series databases.

  • Experience in designing APIs, distributed systems, and resilient messaging services.

  • Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments.

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in cryptocurrencies, including exposure to trading and algo trading.

Alldus are working with a Cybersecurity practice in Ireland. They have a growing need for OT Cybersecurity Consultants with 1-3 years industry experience. On offer is an initial 6-month contract with a high chance of extension.

Day-to-day duties:
  • Conduct assessments of clients' OT environments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
  • Design and implement OT cybersecurity solutions, including network segmentation, access controls, intrusion detection systems, and security monitoring tools.
  • Develop and implement OT security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on OT security issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of OT security measures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies in the OT cybersecurity landscape and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in OT cybersecurity, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of OT systems, protocols, and architectures, such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, and industrial control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with OT security technologies, such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

You will play a critical role in their ServiceNow platform's design, development, implementation and maintenance to support our customer service operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise to connect and align CSM with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to ensure seamless integration and alignment with broader IT initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Experience with IT Operations Management (ITOM) concepts such as event management, discovery, and orchestration.
  • Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.

  • Play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) user team, the ServiceNow technical development (ITSM) team, and other stakeholders
  • Provide practical training and step-by-step how-to instruction aimed at enhancing knowledge and increasing adoption of standard hardware asset processes through the continued use of ServiceNow HAM Pro and related functions through the performance of items like: formal functional overviews, user manual and documentation creation, field/function/data inter-dependency identification and mapping, UAT test guidance, Platform Upgrade test guidance, etc.
