As a key early member of our Legal-Tech clients team, you’ll be building the future of the justice system from the ground up. Working closely with their CTO, a 20-year Microsoft veteran who has led AI teams for numerous successful data and AI products, as well as their small but mighty team of experienced data scientists and engineers, you will play an important role in building the user-facing aspects of our AI-powered platform. They are looking for candidates who excel in a few of these responsibilities and are open to expanding their knowledge.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the team to:
- Learn about the product features we are seeking to build and improve, and lead specific projects to develop, optimize, and maintain our website, web application, and Microsoft Add-In (using React, Typescript, NEXT.js, Figma, Python, and other technologies).
- Create front-end experiences that are consistent across all supported browsers and platforms, ensuring the code is clean, properly structured and compatible with major browsers
- Ideally, create designs for proposed product enhancements in Figma or similar tool
- Attend daily scrum meetings, as well as weekly broader team meetings to understand how your code integrates with the larger product and the features others are working on. You will also have regular opportunities to meet with lawyers, judges and other justice system stakeholders to get feedback on the tools you are building.
- Understand back end considerations that connect with the front end work, including performance, security, privacy, and accessibility requirements
- Help establish a workflow to embed ongoing usability tests in the front-end development process
- Communicate in a positive manner with internal and external users to address software issues that are affecting website performance and availability
- Author documentation and support articles across the user journey
Qualifications
- 5+ years of front-end experience with deep understanding of React, Typescript, NEXT.js, Figma, Python, CSS and other modern web technologies and techniques
- 5+ years of experience in software development for cloud-based solutions
- Experience in leading front-end development efforts in a startup environment
- Emphasis on creating single-page apps that talk to various HTTP web services
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma is highly desirable
- Creativity, tenacity, and attention to detail
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with Product team in order to translate requirements into working software
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Identify security protection objectives and indicators in accordance with the strategic plan of
CISO and priorities
- Actively maintains an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with

- Is responsible for actively monitoring and completing the various CISO dashboards as well as others sources of information from the CISO universe and implements appropriate corrective measures within the IT organization
• Information Risk Management:
- Establish and maintains an information risk management framework based on the method

- defines, describes and applies processes, policies and standards “Information Risk Analysis”, “Information Risk Treatment” and “Information Risk Monitoring”
- defines and manages the approval and evaluation process of these new processes and standards
